Updating Software

Advanced Relay provides software updates as executable files which are loaded into the PXS using the RedBoot load command and executed using the RedBoot go command. The update automatically writes the software into the proper place in flash memory. The name of the executable file will typically be pxsupdate-<appname><version>.bin. After executing the update pxsupdate-<appname><version>.bin, the apps command will display <appname> version <version> in the list of applications in flash memory.
