Advanced Relay has setup a PXS demonstration LAN accessible from the Internet which customers can use to see how the PXS works in a typical front-end application. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) server on the Internet provides a secure gateway to the PXS demonstration LAN via the Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP). Software to establish PPTP VPN connections is now a standard part of Microsoft operating systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP. We provide step-by-step instructions for connecting to the VPN using Windows 2000.
The demonstration setup is shown in the following diagram.
