> edcfg -e [filename] [outfile]
As with configuration file creation, edcfg prompts for each configuration profile type in turn. If a profile of a given type is found in the file, edcfg prompts:
Configuration profile for '<profile type>' found. Include profile in edited file? (Y/n/e):
The options are:
Choosing e allows you to edit the profile just as you would during file creation. The values found in the file being edited are displayed in parentheses in the prompt.
If a configuration for the protocol was not found in the file, edcfg prompts:
No configuration profile for '<profile type>' found. Include profile in edited file? (y/N/e):
You have the same 3 options, except that N is the default and y and e have the same meaning: you are prompted for new values.
